UX Concept
Based on the findings of the analysis, a UX concept is developed. Here, for example, card sorting is used to develop the information architecture, and scribbles are used to capture the first ideas.
Prototype
The prototype, which is mostly used as the last and at the same time most complex, is a click dummy. The developers use this programmed, partially functional demonstration of the website or application to test central usage processes and scenarios.
Wireframing
Wireframes help to represent the positioning and size of the various elements of the user interface, such as text and images, and to check whether the structure is understandable for the user.
user testing
Using these tools, users’ behavior and reactions can be tested and the concept adapted accordingly. The findings of the tests always flow into the next design round – so the developers get to the finished product step by step.
Visual design
In the UI design, the precise visualization is then carried out using a mockup that defines colors, fonts, content outline, features, interactions and sizes for the application, among other things.
ITERRATION
Regular exchange with the customer is crucial in the entire process. With its feedback, the product is continuously improved. After the successful usability test has been successfully carried out, the project is transferred to the responsible programming team.
